Our merchant account through Wells Fargo, PayPal and/or e-commerce provider Yahoo merchant solutions handle the credit card transactions and/or authorizations, they let us know if it is valid or not. At the end of the day when business is over, Weigle Tech shuts down all computers that are used to carry out sales transactions that may have personal information on them. Weigle Tech copies and/or backups all personal information to external removable media devices, such as CD’s, DVD’s, flash cards and/or external hard drives. All the information is password protected through are accounting software (QuickBooks 2007, by Intuit Inc.) and/or another secure password method of protection through the Windows or Macintosh operating system. The Windows operating system has (Norton 360 All-In-One Security by Symantec Corporation) software installed. We also have an alarm system for extra protection, but we are always looking for even more secure methods to safeguard personal information. If there are any questions or comments please contact us.
